A lot of us are already using oils for our own health. Many are now asking, well if they can help people so much what about using them on our pets? Well the answer is YES!!!!
Oils can be utilized in so many ways – given orally, applied to the fur, or into the air through a diffuser. This makes them great for almost any owner and pet!
Why do oils have such a profound effect? It’s because Oils can improve mental , physical, and emotional health. They are a great addition to traditional or other complementary medicine treatments.
While many veterinarians discourage use of oils due to toxicity concerns….. I am here to explain why this is not the case! I will be able to guide you and help you understand when the appropriate oils and the right strength and doing …. The essential oils will not only be safe, but likely life changing for your pet!

If I don’t see the expected change in my pet after using oils, should I continue?
Sometime you can see changes in oils after 1 use, sometimes it may take a few weeks. If you haven't seen expected changes within 1 month of use, consider trying different formula for your pet. If that doesn't work then essential oils may not be best treatment option for your pets specific issue.
My pets skin was irritated and red after using oils, Should I continue?
Let skin return to normal over a couple day period. Then apply the fractionated coconut oil ( available through animal EO ) to skin followed by the essential oil.
My pet vomited and/or had diarrhea the same day I used oils. Did oils cause this?
It is unlikely for essential oils to cause vomiting or diarrhea when used properly. If your pet repeatedly has these signs after using essential oils discontinue use of the oil.
My pet is already on medications, is it ok to use oils?
Yes! Oils are safe to use with all supplements and medications. That is just one of the many great things about using essential oils. When used properly there are no concerns for oil and medication interactions!
My pet doesn’t seem to like me applying oils. Should I still use them?
I always recommend starting a slightly lower dose than labeled for the first few applications in order for your pet to adjust to the smell and feel of the oils. If your pet continually hides/dislikes having oils applied. Then using oils orally or with a diffuser. may be more appropriate with your pet.
I may have applied to much oil to my pet. What should I do?
It is unlikely you overdosed your dogs if using any the Animal EO brand. As almost all formulas can be given at much higher doses than labeled. However, if concerned give animal a bath with dawn dish soap. If you pet is vomiting, has diarrhea, or very lethargic take your pet for veterinary care immediately.
